On Friday 14th October 2015, we will be migrating your home phone voicemail service to a new and improved platform, please see our frequently asked questions below.


Q: What is voicemail?

Voicemail is a feature that allows callers to leave messages when you are unable to answer the phone. Your basic voicemail will allow you to save up to 50 messages.


Q: How to access the voicemail?

You just need to dial *123 from your home phone to set up your mailbox and activate your service. If you do not have voicemail active then please call customer services on 1 (800) 804-2994 for assistance


Q: Is there a default PIN for my new mailbox?

Yes. The default PIN is 1234. For your security, we urge you to change it soon after you have accessed your mailbox.


Q: How do I set up voicemail?

You can setup your voicemail by dialing *123 from your home phone and follow the set up tutorial, which will guide you through changing the default PIN, recording a personal greeting or voice signature and, changing your voicemail settings. You will be required to create a new mailbox greeting and new passcode.


Q. How do I know that I have received a new voice message?

When you receive a new voice message, we will put a special dial-tone on your line so you will know that there is a new message waiting for you. Once you have dialed *123 to listen to your new messages, we will change the dial tone back to the usual one.


Q: How long will my saved messages are kept for?

Saved messages will be kept for 14 days on the new platform


Q: How do I know my messages are secure?

The privacy of customer information is important to us, including the Voice Mail services we offer. That's one of the reasons you'll always need a password to access your Voicemail account. Remember, to keep your information safe:

Choose a strong password for Voice Mail and other accounts

Stay away from common number sequences or things like birthdays or street addresses

Pick random sequences of numbers and change your passwords frequently

Q: How do I check my messages from a phone other than my landline in country?

You cannot access your voicemail from another telephone within the same country


Q: How do I check my messages from a phone other than my landline out of country?

To access your voicemail from another phone from outside of the country, please dial +1 869 662 0000.


Q: How can I access or reset my password if I have forgotten it?

If ever forget your voicemail password or have any problems logging into your voicemail account, please contact our customer care at 1 (800) 804-2994 for assistance


Q: Can I disable my voicemail password?

No, passwords are required for security.


Q: Can I have a permanent copy of a voice message?

No, you are not able to get permanent copies of a voice message. If you wish to have a permanent copy we recommend you play your message while accessing your voicemail from a speaker phone and record it to a device of your choice.


Q: What should I do if I cannot access my voicemail?

If you are unable to access your voicemail box, please contact customer care at 1 (800) 804-2994 for assistance


Q: What should I do if my unanswered calls are not going to voicemail?

If unanswered incoming calls are not directed to our voicemail box, please contact customer care at 1 (800) 804-2994 for assistance


Q: What happens if my voicemail box is full?

If your voicemail box is full, you will receive a notification and a message advising you to clear your mailbox. You will need to delete one or more messages before you can receive any more messages.


Q: Can I retrieve a deleted voice message?

We regret that there is no way to retrieve a message once deleted.
