You can send text messages just as you would in your home country. Just use +1 and the three digit country code number as you would in your home country. Most networks will allow you to send and receive text messages while you are travelling. It is FREE to receive a text message.

The new postpaid family plans (Family Standard, Family Plus and Full house) are not charged for adding additional users. Existing family plans that wish to benefit from Free sharing would need to migrate to these new family plans.
At this time there will be no notifications for family plans. Customers are encouraged to their data via other data monitoring applications.
Note that only single user plans data alerts are sent at 75%, 95%, and 100% utilization of data.
Customers currently with bolt-ons will continue to use them unless changes are made to the account. (This is only for Regular and Max postpaid plans)
Customers can upgrade their plan or add mobile to their home bundle to receive double data. (Double data applicable to select postpaid plans)
No. Data bolt-ons will no longer be available with these new postpaid combo plans. We have increased the in-plan data and provided double data when you add postpaid to your home bundle. We’ve also implemented a new, low out of plan data rate of 0.01 per MB.
