Long Term Evolution (LTE) is the next step in the mobile network technology evolution from WCDMA/HSPA. While HSPA+ builds on radio and core network technologies from GSM and UMTS (Wideband CDMA), LTE completely transforms the mobile radio network design. It will provide even higher bandwidth, lower latency, and greater mobility than HSPA+, and in the future shared sector bandwidth of well over 100 Mbs thereby allowing customers to realize even greater speeds.

With LTE, customers will enjoy playing games online, downloading and watching High Definition videos or movies even more, and with MiFi hotstops for multiple devices and tablets they will have greater mobility.

We offer up to nine devices that are perfect for mobile data and are 4G compatible. These include BlackBerry Bold 9900, BlackBerry 9860, the Apple IPhone 4S the Huawei Mi-fi E586.

However, LIME is committed to offering a range of new high performing 4G devices including USB modems, mobile phones, tablets and MiFi devices at launch. As more devices become 4G devices become available LIME will make every effort to ensure that its customers have access to purchase these devices as they become available.

In any case, don’t forget you don’t need to get a device as fast as 21Mbps to enjoy an amazing experience. Already, 3.6 Mbps will give you the feeling of your broadband at home and 7.2 Mbps will give you a faster speed than many people enjoy in their homes today.
