Yes, eSIMs will be available to all Mobile Prepaid or Postpaid customers if they have an eSIM enabled device that does not have a carrier-lock from another operator.

If you can use a physical Flow SIM in your device to make or receive a call it means your phone is enabled (not restricted) and you may use it also with a Flow eSIM as well.

No, not all devices are eSIM enabled, however Flow is working with manufacturers to ensure the devices that we sell supports eSIM.

First confirm that your device has the most recent software by

  • Going to settings, check for recent updates then download and install the latest update. Then to confirm the device compatibility
  • Go to settings and IMEI Information, here you can confirm eSIM is in the menu or dial *#06# and if you see EID Information (a long 32-digit code), it supports eSIM.

A Flow Representative will allocate an e-sim and assign a service number and Flow plan just as with a physical SIM.

To install the eSIM in your device is important that you first locate the email where we provided your with the eSiM profile information . When you find it use any of the following methods to install it in your device. Make sure the eSIM you are trying to install is not already activated in another device . Steps below are assuming the eSIM is available and not already installed in other device.

Adding the eSIM in Iphone long pressing the QR code Image

1. Make sure your iPhone is connected to the internet (Wi-Fi or mobile data).
2. Open the email where you received the QR code(in the iPhone you want to install the eSIM to)
3. Press and hold (long press) on the image of the QR code.
4. A menu will appear. Tap “Add e-SIM”.
5. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.

Adding the eSIM with Iphone clicking the installation link/button

1. Make sure your iPhone is connected to the internet (Wi-Fi or mobile data).
2. Open the email or message we sent you about your eSIM.
3. Tap the button or link that says, “Install Now”.
4. Follow the prompt to add your e-SIM.

Adding the eSIM in Android with the long press

1. Make sure your iPhone is connected to the internet (Wi-Fi or mobile data).
2. Open the email where you received the QR code(in the iPhone you want to install the eSIM to)
3. Press and hold (long press) on the screen home button.
4. A menu will appear. Tap “Add e-SIM”.
5. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.

There is no charge for a SIM replacement.

The customer will pay for the eSIM as they would for a physical SIM. So today, a customer signing up for a new postpaid service would get the SIM as part of his package but if he also wanted a prepaid number he would have to purchase a SIM.

Yes, your eSIM is secure as a physical SIM, however, is even better in terms of security since it is embedded to your device and cannot be easily stolen, extracted or lost.

Being that the case, an eSIM is the first, more recommended and convenient secure option if you have an Iphone or any other Android device that supports eSIM.

Yes, your eSIM service can be suspended just as if you were using a physical SIM. Additionally, if you lost your phone or it was stollen, you can ask for an eSIM swap or change . For asking eSIM change these are the steps:

1. Request a SIM change with Flow/BTC customer service .
2. An email will be sent with the eSiM details to your email once SIM change is completed.

No, if your device supports eSIM you can immediately get an eSiM (with the plan you choose) and then install it in your device.

Yes, you may add an eSIM profile with its own number to your device with an existing service and number that has a physical SIM. This allows you to receive calls and messages on both numbers and select which plan you want to use to call or send text messages or use data. Will allow you to have the Dual SIM capabilities with a physical SIM and the eSIM in same device .

Yes, a SIM change can be done from a physical SIM to an eSIM. An eSIM profile will only be allowed to be active on one device at a time. Follow the following steps:

1. Request a SIM change with Flow/BTC customer service .
2. An email will be sent with the eSiM details to your email once SIM change is completed.
3. Remove the pSIM from the old device.

To install the eSIM in a new device use any of the methods guidelines mentioned in the earlier question related to “methods and steps to Install eSIM in a device“ in HOW TO INSTRUCTIONS section.

Not currently, each eSIM will be provisioned with a different number. Also, an eSIM profile will only be allowed to be active on one device at a time. An eSIM profile must be deleted from the current device before it can be added to any other device.

Certainly, you will be able to delete your eSIM profile from one device and add it to another. Make sure you follow the following guidelines, first delete eSIM from old device .

1. Ensure the device is connected to the internet
2. Go to Settings, Select Cellular or Mobile Service
3. Select eSIM to be Deleted
4. Scroll to end and select delete eSIM

No, both the physical SIM and eSIM may be activated with any Flow plan so there will be no need to change your plan.

An eSIM do has the exact same functionality as a regular SIM, allowing you to do all your usual activities including voice, data, and SMS.

If you have roaming service enabled, an eSIM will work the same as a physical SIM while abroad. The roaming prices or charges policies would not be different . As usual, you can use the features from the device as you do with physical SIM . (For instance, you can turn off or ON roaming data from device settings whenever you consider if device has the option available) .

In this case, the eSIM will also be deleted. To get your number back, please find the email we sent you with the eSiM information and use the installation methods mentioned in the earlier question related to “ methods and steps to Install eSIM in a device “ in HOW TO INSTRUCTIONS section.
