Smart Wi Fi is a wireless network that is set up in your home to manage all the devices that are connected to the Internet in your house.

Smart Wi Fi improves the quality and reliability of your Wi Fi network. It also gives you greater control by allowing you to see all the devices that are connected and determine what sites those devices can access via your Wi Fi network.

There is a cost of $500 + GCT/month for each Wireless Extender device. However, if you subscribe to our Ya’ad & Road Plus plan, you are eligible to receive up to two (2) Free Extenders if required. There is no charge to download the Smart Wi Fi App.

Smart Wi Fi will not increase the speed of your Internet connection, but it will improve the stability and reliability of your Wi Fi connection  

The quantity of Extenders that are required will depend on the size, internal layout and the location of the areas in your home where Wi Fi service is required.

You will need to have a modem/ONT or Gateway device that supports our Smart Wi Fi service. Please call our Contact Centre at 1-800-804-2994, to find out whether your modem/ONT or Gateway device is compatible with Smart Wi Fi.

The “Flow Smart Wi Fi” App can be downloaded from the Google Play Store or the Apple Store

On the App Home screen, in the top section, tap on the Wi-Fi Password link. In the pop-up window, you will get a QR Code and the name and password for your Wi-Fi network. You can also click the Share Password button; a share sheet will come up in your phone which will give you the option to share your Wi-Fi details via email, WhatsApp, or any other app.

The extender will not lose any configurations made before it lost power. However, it is best to make sure that the extender is always plugged into an electrical outlet and powered on. If you had more than one extender, the online extender will try to automatically find a better path to receive Wi-Fi signal. If you power back on the extender, the second one will automatically switch to that one if it detects a better Wi-Fi signal from it.
